20MnCr5 Grade Introduction:

20MnCr5 is a low alloy case-hardening steel used in engineering applications requiring high surface wear resistance and a tough core. It is ideal for components needing a core tensile strength of 1000-1300 N/mm². The steel’s case-hardened surface offers exceptional wear resistance, while the tough core withstands shock loads, leading to a longer service life.

20MnCr5 Grade Application:

20MnCr5 (1.7147) steel is widely used in rotating machinery for gearing applications. It is typically used in parts such as valve bodies, pumps, high-load wheels, bolts, gears, and internal combustion engines. Other uses include electric locomotives, machine tools, tractors, steel rolling equipment, railway vehicles, and mining machinery components like transmission shafts, rollers, and sleeves.
