Description
EN41B Grade Introduction: EN41B is a low-carbon, free-cutting alloy steel composed of 1.5% Chromium, Aluminum, and Molybdenum. It is widely recognized for its excellent wear resistance, toughness, and ductility. Commonly used in the hardened and tempered condition, EN41B is particularly suitable for components that require nitriding to achieve a case hardness of up to 68 HRC. It is ideal for intricate drilling, turning operations, and components subjected to high wear and abrasion, such as hydraulic fittings, studs, and bolts.
EN41B Grade Application: EN41B is commonly employed in industries requiring high wear and abrasion resistance, such as automotive, textile, and general engineering sectors. It is used to manufacture components like connecting rods, valve stems, clutch plates, injection molding equipment, hydraulic cylinders, gears, die inserts, and piston pins.
