DIN 1.2714 – BRIGHT BAR Forging Properties:
- Forging Temperature: Pre-heat slowly; hot-working temperature: 1050 – 850°C
DIN 1.2714 – BRIGHT BAR Stress Relieving:
- Process: Heat to 600-650°C, soak for about two hours per 25mm of section, cool in furnace to 500°C, then air cool. Recommended after rough machining before hardening.
DIN 1.2714 – BRIGHT BAR Normalizing:
- Note: Due to its air-hardening characteristics, normalizing is not recommended.
DIN 1.2714 – BRIGHT BAR Annealing:
- Annealing Temperature: 680 – 710°C; after annealing, hardness ≤ 250 HB
